"Funny how things work out. What started as a random visit to the local dog park, where Tanya happened to meet our crazy Jack Russell tribe, ended up being the reason we were able to go away and finally enjoy our long-awaited belated honeymoon! 🏖️

And Tanya certainly knew what she was signing up for after meeting the tribe!

We left Pet Home Safe in charge of what can only be described as a small zoo: our five Jack Russells, six cats, two cockatiels, a budgerigar, a finch and five hens.

To make things even more interesting, our Jack Russell Mum and Dad had just welcomed a litter of puppies before we departed, so Tanya wasn’t simply feeding a few pets and checking the water bowls. She had a brand-new little family to keep a very close eye on as well!

From day one, Tanya was absolutely amazing. She has such a beautiful, caring and gentle nature with animals and went well above and beyond anything we could have expected.

Every single day while we were away, she kept us updated with messages and photos of the tribe, including the new little arrivals. Those regular updates meant so much to us and allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our honeymoon knowing everyone back home was happy, safe and being genuinely loved and cared for.

Anyone who can manage five Jack Russells including a brand-new Mum and Dad, a litter of tiny puppies, six cats and enough birds to qualify for their own postcode deserves a medal! 😂🏅

Tanya didn’t just pet sit. She treated our animals and our home with the same care and attention she would give her own, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Who would have thought one chance meeting at the local dog park would lead to finding someone we could trust enough to leave our entire four-legged and feathered family with? 😝
